Once we have asked to be healed, then our unhealed places are forced to the surface. Commitment is only true if it is made again each day. Otherwise it deteriorates into little less than, "I commit to bring my body home." If you don't bring your soul home, your emotions home, your heart home, then why bother?" The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world. We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by the love we're not extending in the present. When an idea reaches critical mass, there is no stopping the shift its presence will induce.
