Darkness I see
One beam above guides my way
Stars glow to point my path
On and off are the light bulbs' way
The fence's shadow is cast astray
My lantern all black
The horse and carriage at rest
I walk alone
No company to keep
My path has come to an end
I am tucked away
Tomorrow a new day
Another path's end to seek
